We're funded! Last 24 hrs for $20k stretch goal: "Making Lemonade"

Thank you thank you thank you everyone for pledging and sharing our project. Yesterday was a blur of excitement. We alternately screamed and cried in joy!

In these last 24 hours, if we can push to $20,000, EVERYONE who pledged for a physical book will get a behind-the-scenes zine. "Making Lemonade" will be a booklet full of character design sketches, working scripts, thumbnails, color palette tests, editor notes, a comic we had to edit out of the final book and much more. This will compile a year's journey to making this book happen. Check out some previews below:

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the Livestream yesterday! If you missed it, the recorded video is on the Kickstarter page until the end of the campaign.

One of the rewards we previewed was the "Secret Agents Only" tier. At $200, it is our highest reward! This tier comes with a copy of the book, postcards and a super cute USB drive packed with extra art, 10 original tracks and album art made by Cris Valles.

Update: To get a download link to all the music tracks *without the USB and extra art* increase your pledge by $12!

Another note: For backers of the "Donate 5" option, this tier does come with a full set of postcards. If you'd like more to share or give as gifts, add $5 for a set of three (3) and $10 for the full set of six (6) postcards.

So much has happened this week. We were featured as a Kickstarter "Project We Love," are currently 62% funded and will be able to donate 116 copies thanks to all of you!

For those backers who chose the $40 and $50 bookplate rewards, check out Gabi's design. These will be printed on a nice matte stock, signed and sketched by Gabi then glued in by hand (or hoof?) by the Cow House team. If you love how this looks and want a personalized copy, it's not to late to adjust your backer tier!

Hello all! We’ve reached 40% of our goal. Every little bit counts, and we super appreciate everyone who’s given us support, and everyone who has taken the time to spread the word of this project of ours.

During the inception of this project, we knew that we wanted to do it in color. Of course, the problem that was posed was what colors should we use? We knew that the most important theme to capture was summer, and so the challenge was figuring out how to capture summer with a limited palette. Thanks to the help of Cris’s talents with color, we found our palette. The colors that were picked were the colors of water, the sky, and the sun throughout the day.

During the day, the crisp color of the sky with the blue-greens of water, reflecting the bright yellow of sunshine.

Then, the deep, cooling colors of the night sky.

Thanks to Cris and Gabi working together to find the perfect palette, Connie was able to pick colors to tone the pages of each comic. We hope the color palette gives the feeling of a full long summer day!
